Introduction

BULLICK is a bidding game involving strategy and luck. The goal is to bluff to trick the other players into thinking that your bid is true or by hiding that it is false. You’ll need to use your acting skills!

In short, BULLICK is a new way of playing poker.

A game of strategy

While the number of players can affect one’s chances of winning, the game rewards and greatly benefits players who use deception and trickery to win. Rather than bidding as accurately as possible, up the ante to get your rivals to make a mistake.

The strategies to apply in this game play on truths and falsehoods. If a player makes a bid and it is false, they have to give a card to each of the other players, or any other stakes agreed before the game. If a player makes a bid and it is true, they receive a card from each of the other players, or any other stakes agreed before the game.

A few tricks...

  • Bid low early in the round to evaluate your opponent’s hands.
  • Vary the frequency of your ”bluffs”.
  • When the last bid is checked, pay attention to your opponent’s cards, they may tell you something about how they play.
  • Over time, you’ll learnto tweak your own strategies and get a clearer idea of your opponent’s strategies.
